It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Eugene Dawson (Stanton, Kentucky), who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cohath Dawson and Ila Powell Dawson; and his son Anthony Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Dawson; his children, William Douglas Dawson (Cherie), Eric Dawson (Alexis) and Pamela Napier (Wendall); his siblings, Paul Dawson, Eddie Dawson and Wilma Jones; and his grandchildren, Shane Napier, Brooke Dawson, Britney Dawson and Shawn Dawson. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
