It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ira Reathel Embry Sr. (Stanley, Kentucky), who passed away on June 26, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Embry and Luvina Casey Embry; his wife Mary Lois; his siblings, Shelton, Herman, Hayward, Orville Embry, Trubert Daughterty, Lucy Duke and Tine Henderson; his granddaughter Sylvia Embry; and his children-in-law, Marlene Embry, Sandy Embry, Benny Berry and Roy Barnett.
He is survived by: his children, Patty Gail Clark of Owensboro, Alice Berry of Owensboro, Pamela Green (Kevin) of Owensboro, Betty Barnett of Maceo, Ira Embry, Jr. of Stanley, James Embry (Nora) of Stanley and Wayne Embry of Owensboro. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, two brothers.
