He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. John Quincy and Martha Franklin Gallagher; and his brothers, Clarence and Bob Gallagher. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Johnson Gallagher; his children, William Karl Gallagher of Garden City, MI and Susan (Chris); his grandchildren, Karl (Nicole), Amanda (Brian), Kayla and Charlie; and his great grandchildren, Brynlee Davian and Ava. He is also survived by four sisters.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hall Funeral Home (331 KY-122, Martin, KY 41649). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
