He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Martin and Betty Howerton Jr. (Roberts); his sister Jane; and his brother-in-law Ted Carruthers. He is survived by: his wife Connie Hildabrand Howerton; his daughters, Joanna Howerton Stevens (Will) of Lancaster and Stephanie Howerton of Lexington; and his parents-in-law, Joe and Nancy Hildabrand of Russellville.
All individuals attending services will be required to wear masks.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Stanford Baptist Church or the Lincoln County 4-H Program.
