It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelby Reed of Stanford, Kentucky, who passed away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Shelby departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Shelby. Though Shelby may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Spurlin Funeral Home (411 W Main St, Stanford, KY 40484). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
