He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Mae (Siler) and Luther Morris Johnson; and his siblings, Morris Johnson, Margaret Hunt, Frances Montgomery, Irene McDermott and Gladys York.
He is survived by: his son Jerry Lee Johnson (Diana Moses) of Bradenton, Florida.; his sisters, Fannie Crawford of Stanford and Hazel Wilder of Danville; his granddaughter Felicia Wilcher (Randy); his great grandchildren, Sydney Denny (Hank Tara Worley), Dallas and Ivory Denny; his nephews, David York, Harold and Calvin Montgomery; and his great-niece Jessica Marie Manuel.
