It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Eugene Boyd of Stanford, Kentucky, born in Garrard, Kentucky, who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryan Boyd and Vernie Lee Young Boyd; his son Patrick Boyd; and his siblings, Ralph Boyd, Kenneth Boyd, Frances Wine, Opal Whitis and Christine Wadella.
He is survived by: his children, Todd Boyd of Stanford and Tanya Boyd Gehlhausen of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Shane Boyd (Patricia) of Hustonville, Rachel Boyd (Clay Lanham) of Lebanon, Dawson Gehlhausen of Harrodsburg, Brian Boyd of Florida, Shawn Boyd (Beth) of Lancaster and Christopher Boyd of Lancaster; his great grandchildren, Triston Boyd, Allison Boyd, Rhett Lanham, Patrick Boyd, Emily Boyd, Chloe Boyd Shrader, Hailey Hatchman and Brian Boyd; and his siblings, Virginia Brown of Stanford, Doris Day of Stanford and Ronald Boyd of Danville. He is also survived by several other extended family members and friends.
