She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Hammons, Jr.; her parents, Chad Middleton and Maude Middleton (Smith); her son Gerald Wayne Hammons; and her brother Chad Middleton, Jr..
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Geraldene and Tommye Middleton5; her granddaughters, Tracy Carol Curtsinger (Charles), Christy Lynn Anderson (Eric), Jennifer Anne Bandura (Kevin), Stephenie Lynn Duncan (David) and Michelle Lee Stinnett (Mike); her great grandchildren, Mendyn, Matthew Duncan, Kalyn Gollar, Tayler, Brakton Stinnett, Kaycie, Kade Bandura, Keith Brooks, Katrina Sexton (Brennan), Shawn Curtisinger (Lisa), Karla Curtsinger and A. J. Curtsinger (Chastity); and her great great grandchildren, Aden, Jocelyn Brooks, Kaitlyn, Chase Curtsinger, Barran, Kason Sexton, Kadence and Cohen EdwardsSeveral.
