With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Jane Carter of Stanford, Kentucky, born in Danville, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary Jane left this world on October 28, 2024 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian David and Evadney Johanna "Dot" Kellner Driesler; her husband Carl Carter; and her brother Karl Driesler. She is survived by: her sons, Gary Carter (Mimi) of Stanford and Bruce Carter (Kim) of Danville; her sister Doris Malady; her grandchildren, Christopher Carter (Holly), Clayton Carter (Emma Martin) and Kristan Carter; and her great grandchildren, River Martin, London Carter, Brecken Carter and Cameron Carter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church (117 W Main St, Danville, KY 40422). A Mass was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
