He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Bastin and Edna Mae Young Bastin; and his wife June Bastin. He is survived by: his children, Martha Bastin (Denise) of Crab Orchard, KY and Martin Bastin (Angela) of Stanford; his siblings, Hazel Lark, Gary Bastin (Gayle), Peggy Jenkins (Butch), Deborah Gamble (Keith) and Barry Bastin (Lori); his grandchildren, Chase Mitchell Bastin and Kelley King Bastin; and his close friend Van Munford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
