He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Santos and Raquel Menedez Santos; his parents-in-law, Kenneth E. Davis and Catherine V. Davis; his sons, Bradley N. Santos and Christopher Smalley; his sisters, Luisa E. Happke and Lydia Torres; and his brothers-in-law, Kelvin M. Bruce and James V. Paolini.
He is survived by: his wife Streta Santos of Stanford; his son Michael R. Smalley; his grandchildren, Chloe C. Smalley, Mariah Santos, Dominique Santos and Romeo Santos; his siblings, Rose I. Mendez, Lydia M. Ogletree (William), Nilda I. Santos, Yolanda Bruce, Guillermo L. Santos (Rosana) and Orlando E. Santos (Lauren); his brother-in-law Robert Happke (William G. Tiller); and his friend Eduardo Montalvo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, as well as great nieces and great nephews.
