He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Harris and Dora Phillips Harris; and his granddaughter Alexis Jade Noel. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Hamblin Harris; his daughters, Heather Noel (Josh) and Kristie Chestnut (Kenny); his siblings, Dennis Harris, Daniel Harris and Sue Gipson; and his grandchildren, Lucas Collett, Laura Collett, Liam Noel, Bailey Noel and Kinsley Noel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family of Mr. Harris suggest memorial donations be made to Heritage Hospice and/or Great American Brass Band Festival.
