She was predeceased by: her parents, Powell Jennings McCurry and Bessie Lou Sanders McCurry; her brothers, Haldron, Roscoe and Harold McCurry; her husbands, Jesse M. Mink and John M. Carter; her sister Christine Jackson; and her stepdaughter June Braden.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Dr. John Mark Carter (Cindy) of Campbellsville, Jill McLeskey of St. Petersburg, Florida and Jinny Carter of St. Petersburg, Florida. She is also survived by several step-grandchildren; and several step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
