He was predeceased by: his father James Downs; and his brother Dennis Downs. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Downs of Danville; his sons, Chad Downs (Crystal) of Richmond and Bradley Downs (Brandi) of Mt. Sterling; his close friend Sharon Snow of Moreland; his sisters, Jean Downs of Danville, Jamie Downs of Mt. Vernon and Barbara Clark (Tike) of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Taylor, Lexi, Kaylee, Jackson, Emma, Hunter, Avery, Maddison, Courtney, Kylee, Blayton, Kassen, Noah, Ellisyn and Raelynn; his great grandchild Rhoman; and also, Jassen Snow (Haley) of Moreland and Kayla Benedict (Zack) of Danville.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home (5590 Hwy 2141, Hustonville, KY 40437). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
