With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Godby (Stanford, Kentucky), born in Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on April 21, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Albert Godby and Edna Lee Godby; his wife Lottie Godby; his son Jacky Godby; and his siblings, Sonny Godby and Betty Sims.
He is survived by: his significant other Sandy Johnson; his children, Delbert Godby (Teresa) and Jannie Wilson (Larry); his siblings, Doug Godby (Becky), Louise Criswell and Judy Kirkpatrick (Keith); his grandchildren, Austin Godby, Vanna Godby, Lee Simpson, Jeremy Simpson and Stacey Godby; and his children, Natalie Griffin, Latasha Gilpatrick and Joe Smith. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
