He is survived by: his wife Marcia Simpson Smith of Stanford; his daughter Lea Ann Smith of Ocean Springs, MS; his siblings, Gerry Smith, Jimmy Smith, Tommie Smith, Judy Raikes and Janie Smith; and his niece Dayne Carmicle (Todd).
