She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hoskins and Lucy Copley Hoskins; and her daughter Faye Means. She is survived by: her siblings, Boyd Hoskins of Liberty and Wanda Byrd of Stanford; her former spouse Lelious Buis; her children, Francis and Rickie Buis of Liberty; and her spouse Cloyd Harris. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren with two on the way, 2 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Joann's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
