He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Duke Payne, Sr. and Doris Karnes Payne; and his brothers, Ronald Alfred Payne and David Allen Payne. He is survived by: his siblings, Emery Duke Payne, Jr. of Crab Orchard, KY and Flora Elizabeth Bailey (Leslie) of Stanford, KY; and his niece Doris McKinney (Donnie) of Danville, KY. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
