He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Owens and Olene Estes Owens; his sister Stella Brown; his son-in-law Rusty Arnwine; and his stepson Ronald "Ronnie" Lynn.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva "Nevie" Lynn Owens of Casey County; his daughters, Debra E. Venable (Bob) of West Carrollton and Cynthia D. Arnwine of Largo, Florida; his granddaughter Cynsonya Wallace of Germantown, Ohio; his sister Phyllis "Sweetie" Hodges; and his stepdaughter Barbara Collins (Buddy) of Elmwood, Ohio. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fox & Friend Funeral Home (312 W Main St, Stanford, KY 40484). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at the Brush Creek Cemetery.
