It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Proffitt of Stanford, Kentucky, born in Lily, Kentucky, who passed away on November 12, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Proffitt and Hannah Humfleet Proffitt; his daughter Mary Elizabeth (Leanore Proffitt); and his sister Bobbie Setser. He is survived by: his wife Delores Vance Proffitt; his daughters, Laura Sprinkle and Karen Proffitt; and his stepchildren, Mandy Jankowski, Wayne William Jankowski and Timothy Allen Jankowski. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
