She was predeceased by: her parents, Helem Terrell and Harriet Taylor Terrell; her husband Robert Southerland; her great grandchild Nicholas Mills; her siblings, Edgar, John, Ethel and Pearl; and her daughter-in-law Vicki Southerland.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Swearinger (Chester) of Hustonville, Clyde Dean Southerland (Cathy) of Moreland and Norman Southerland of Moreland; her sisters, Geneva Blankenship of Maxey Valley and Bernice Soulyrette of Junction City; her grandchildren, Jennifer Mills (Michael), Bryan Swearinger (Robin), Rebecca Gels (Scott), Dana Ellis (Troy), Jann Henriksen (Bobby), C. D. Southerland (Shawnna) and Eric Southerland (Pam Picard); and her caregiver Peggy Appleby. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
