It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Emma Padgett McGuffey of Stanford, Kentucky, who passed away on October 16, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Dick and Arlie Parks Dick; her husbands, Stanley Padgett and Fonzo McGuffey; her son-in-law Jimmy Perkins; and her siblings, Coy, Curtis, Jimmy, Don, Jack, Bill Dick, Helen Walls, Clodia Reid, Ruby Dick and Dorothy Releford.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Padgett (Teresa) of Waynesburg, Kentucky, Linda Thompson (Norville) of Stanford and Donna Perkins of Waynesburg; her grandchildren, Dawn Hanes (Tim) of Burleson, Melanie Hutti (Matt) of Stanford, Josh Thompson (Juliana Wallhausser) of Berea, Jeremiah Perkins (Roccy) of Waynesburg, Zach Padgett (Alla) of Versailles and Laura Thompson (Sean Hager) of Lexington, Kentucky; and her stepsister Billie Agee of Pulaski County. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
