She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hargis and Golda Speaks Hargis; her husband Phillip James Phelps; her siblings, Howard Hargis, Harold Hargis, Wayne Hargis, Imogene Stogstill, Christene Hargis, Vera Hargis and Violet Hargis; her grandson Shawn Hawk; and her grandson-in-law Anthony Meece.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Phelps (Linda) of Somerset, Janet Weaver (Bob) of Stanford, Joan McKenzie (Elvis) of Somerset, Judy Woods (Mike) of Somerset and Jill Hawk (Ronnie) of Somerset; her sisters, Gladys Whitaker of Somerset, Nadine Phelps (Wayne Lee) of Somerset and Jetta Richardson (Wayne) of Somerset; her siblings-in-law, Carlos Hargis of Somerset, Mavis Hargis of Somerset and Joann Hargis of Somerset; her grandchildren, Suzie Burdine (Michael), Kim Meece, Kevin Woods (Courtney), Adam Phelps and Brian Hawk (Teresa); and her great grandchildren, Brittany Chaney, Emily Meece, Charles Hawk, Scott Hawk, Brylee Burdine, Brandon Hawk, Jolee Woods, Jaxon Woods, Braxton Woods and Kinlee Woods. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
