She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley Alexander and Zena Phelps Alexander King; her grandson Dennis Bradley Counts; and her sisters, Mary Ellen Alexander and Lois Alexander Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, David Bruce Nelson (Barb) of Williamsburg, Frances Linville-Goens (Leroy) of Lancaster, Dennis Lee Counts of Stanford and Sheila Godby-Padgett (Darrin) of Waynesburg, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Michele Goens, Robert Barrett, Laura Gilliam (Lincoln), Kaylie Padgett and Ethan Padgett; and her siblings, Carl Alexander (Mary) of Batavia, Ohio, Bertha Hargis of Somerset and Doshia Phelps (Jay) of St. Paul, Indiana. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
