He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Shannon Phelps; his children, Nora Phelps (Robbie Byrne) and Donald Phelps (Alva Smith); his sister Betty West (Everett); his grandchildren, Ryrne Byrne, Taylor Johnson, Kayla Phelps (Cutter Smith) and Logan Phelps (Jennifer); his great grandchild Skyler Phelps; his brother-in-law G. T. Shannon; and his nieces and nephews, Leia, Norman, Sherri Shannon, Vivian Scott, Dinah Ratliff, Tim Shannon, Anthony West, Maurice West and Delreese Phelps.
