He is survived by: his mother Barbara Ann Sam of Opelousas, Louisiana.; his wife Rhonda Dean Sam; his son David Cordoro Sam (Stephanie) of Stanford; his grandchildren, Genesis Sam of Danville and Aaliyah Bellard of Atlanta, Georgia; his brother Kelvin Sam of Katy, Texas; his nephew Kelvin Sam, Jr. of Katy; his niece Kerin Shyenne Sam (Donté) of Louisville, Kentucky; his great-niece Sariah Camille Jones of Louisville; his great-nephew Tyrin Julius Jones of Louisville; and his stepmother Dorothy Dorsey of Decatur.
