It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Alekna of Stanford, Kentucky, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on November 9, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Ray and Audrey Young Ray. She is survived by: her children, Michael Layne, Jacob Ray, Dusty Ray and Honey Sparks; and her siblings, Barry Ray, Mark Ray and Peggy Menschell. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
