He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Simpson and Clara Simpson (Pollard); his former wife Celestine Simpson (Hudson); his son Charles A. Simpson; and his siblings, Dorothy Mae Frost, James K., Calvin C. and Robert L. Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Simpson (Benson); his daughters, Sherry Lynn (Tom Pearson) of Knightstown, IN and Cynthia Jean Simpson of Lancaster; his sisters, Nellie V. Shelton of Ohio and Mildred J. Osborne of Hustonville; and his grandchildren, Tim, Chris, Trish, Trent, Paul and Beth. He is also survived by 9 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter.
