He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. George N. Carr and Elizabeth Fields Carr; and his sisters, Mabel Bayse and Rosetta "Jean" Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Doris Helen Short Carr; his daughter Laura Finley (Jeff Finley); his granddaughters, Lenna and Lauren Finley; and his siblings, Eddie Carr (Marguerite) and Lovelle Eastridge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
