It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Joan Thompson of Stanford, Kentucky, who passed away on July 15, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Charles and Nellie Naylor Carrier; her husband Hershel Thompson; her son Jeffrey Reynolds; her great grandchild Jacob Coleman; and her siblings, Roger, Danny, Larry Carrier and Gail Sears.
She is survived by: her children, Mischelle Wall (Patrick) of Stanford, Ricky Reynolds (Dana) of Harrodsburg, Roy Lee Reynolds (Teresa) of Louisville and Charles Reynolds of Lancaster; her grandchildren, Tina Davis (Jack), April Henderson (Seth), Karen Reynolds, William Reynolds (Morgan Staub), Lana Merrill (John), Cory Wall and Jeffrey Allen Reynolds, Jr. (Elizabeth); and her sister Brenda Gerkey (Ray) of McKinney. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
