She was predeceased by: her parents, William B. Bryan Sr. and Ruth Lyon Bryan; her husband Alfred Pence, Sr.; and her brothers, Charles Robert Bryan and William Bell Bryan, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Alfred Harris Pence, Jr. (Jackie) of Stanford, William E. Pence of Stanford, Ruth Anne Lowe and Bettie Sue Holthouser (James). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
