It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Berdine Reed of Stanford, Kentucky, who passed away on June 15, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" McGuffey and Roberta "Berdie" Burton McGuffey; her husband Walter Reed; and her siblings, Norman McGuffey, Billy Joe McGuffey, Richard McGuffey, Irene Tucker and Ruth Thompson.
She is survived by: her son Joe Reed of Stanford, KY; her stepdaughter Dixie Lee Reed of Lexington, KY; her grandsons, Christopher Reed and Carl James "C. J."; and her great grandchild Lily Reed.
