It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice McGuffey of Stanford, Kentucky, who passed away on July 30, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Beatrice McGuffey to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sizemore and Louanna Young Sizemore; her husband Lloyd B. McGuffey; her sister Margaret Owsley; her son Jim McGuffey; her great grandchild Hannah Jo McGuffey; and her great great grandchild Remington Strong Jacobs.
She is survived by: her sister Stella Mae Jones of Clearwater, Florida; her children, Patty Young (Larry) of Waynesburg, Debbie Collins of Waynesburg, Joda McGuffey (Dolly) of Waynesburg and Bowen McGuffey of Stanford; and her grandchildren, Bo McGuffey, Casey McGuffey, Jon Collins, Phil Collins, Paul Young, Shawn McGuffey, Joey McGuffey, Janet Jacobs, Lisa Johnson, Tonia Middleton, Alyssa Jo McGuffey, Valerie Day, Leigh Humes, Haley McGuffey and Jessie Johnson. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; and numerous other extended family members and friends.
