She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Denson and Lucy Dowell Denson; and her siblings, Hank Ruth, Mark Denson, Jimmy Denson, Freddie "Poncho" Denson, Joe Denson and Gladys Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Hines, Jr. (Kelley) of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, Teresa Walls (Darrell) of Stanford and Patty McCoy (Jeff) of Stanford; her grandchildren, Melinda Evans (Corey) of Waynesburg, Carla Cunningham of Bardstown, Zach Walls (Amber) of Stanford, Cameron Walls (Autumn) of Stanford, Abagail Pittman (Charles Baxter) of Crab Orchard and Lucy Hines of Harrodsburg; her great grandchildren, Corey Cunningham, Addison Cunningham, Jayden Cunningham, Hayley Cunningham, Allison Cunningham, Loyalty Pitmon, TyMonte Upson, Ellie Walls and Easton Walls; and her siblings, Marvin Eugene Denson of Lancaster, Harold Denson of Stanford, Ricky Denson (Glorita) of Stanford, Janie Taylor (Jimmy) of Waynesburg and Loretta Edwards (Buford) of Stanford. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friend.
