She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny J. Hamilton and Bertha Wall Hamilton; her husband Charles E. Brown; her sister Katherine Hamilton Smith; and her niece Linda Ottley.
She is survived by: her cousin Lisa Stone of Danville; her nephew Gary Smith of Cincinnati; and her nieces, Connie Smith (Michael Strutz) of Hague and Janet Davis of Franklin, Tennessee. She is also survived by several cousins and other extended family members and friends.
