It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Samuel Wasson Jr. of Stamping Ground, Kentucky, who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Samuel, Sr.; his siblings, Rozena Grant, Herman Wasson, Doug Wasson and Sherrill; and his son-in-law Al Rice.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Dalzell Wasson; his children, Stephanie Sims (Trey) of Stamping Ground, Marie Rice of Stamping Ground, Robert Samuel "Little Bobby" Wasson, III of Stamping Ground, Chris Wasson of Stamping Ground and Taryn Whittle; his siblings, Kenneth Wasson (Deannie), Randal (Marsha), Janet Covington (Billy) and Janice Shepard (Robert); his grandchildren, Jordan Kelsch (Ryan), Autumn Rice, Allie Rice, Turner Sims, Cameryn Sims and Elle Wasson; his great grandchild Millie Kelsch; and his friend Joel Moody.
