It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marthalene Bailey Mitchell of Stamping Ground, Kentucky, born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Clay Mitchell, Sr.; her parents, Arthur Bailey and Mary Osborn Bailey; her grandchildren, Zachary Mitchell and Heaven Marie Mitchell; and her brothers, Charles Bailey, Cliff Bailey and Eugene Baily.

She is survived by: her pet Ginger; her children, Scott, Tracy Mitchell and Raymond Clay Mitchell, Jr. (Tina); her brothers, Ron Bailey (Saundra) and James Bailey (Brenda); and her grandchildren, Zack, Ben, Cara, Luke, Clay, MaryAnn, Rebekkah, Lauryn and Christian. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
