She was predeceased by: her parents, George Perry and Syble Mae Ruth Jenkins; her daughter LaTonya Mason; and her brothers, David Jenkins and Wendall Jenkins.

She is survived by: her husband Orville Mason; her son Wendall Anthony (Brittany); and her sisters, Linda Taylor and Helen Tate. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
