He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Elizabeth Kilburn Palmer. He is survived by: his sons, James L. Palmer, Jr. (Angel) of Stamping Ground, Kentucky, Robert Taylor Palmer (Josie) of Sadieville, Kentucky and Bryan Patrick Palmer (Jillian Sharp) of Corinth, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Brooke, Megan, Sarah, Samuel, Autumn, Elizabeth, Madison and Trinity; and his great grandchildren, Trevor and Sophia.

Due to Governor Beshear's mandate, 60% occupancy of the funeral home will be in practice and face coverings and proper social distancing are required for all who attend.
