She was predeceased by: her husband James Darnell; her parents, Carmel Giles and Irene Rogers Giles; and her sisters, Sue Giles and Thelma Darnell.

She is survived by: her children, JoAnn Harness (Ronnie), Buster Cannon (Kathy), Bobby Cannon (Carla), Barry Cannon (Sheri), Tina Darnell (Todd) and David Cannon (Ruth Foster). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
