He was predeceased by: his mother Flora Ratliff Caldwell; and his siblings, Billy Caldwell, Shirlene Clark, Barbara Caldwell Dale, Betty Ann Meade and Molly Carter.
He is survived by: his father John Q. Caldwell. He is also survived by friends who thought of him as Dad, Father, and Grandfather.
