Rosetta Salyers Carty Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosetta Salyers Carty (Staffordsville, Kentucky), who passed away on December 18, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Beecher Wilson and Nella Barnett Salyers; her brothers, Oral Barnett and Kenneth Roger Salyers; and her great grandchild Jerica Lashae Arnett.

She is survived by: her children, Kathy Lynn Minix of Salyersville, Kenneth Wayne Carty (Pam) of Salyersville, Timmy Lee Carty (Regina) of Salyersville, Debbie Faye Lewis (Rick) of Morehead, Bobby Neal Carty (Carrie) of West Liberty, John David Carty (Edwina) of Salyersville and Shelia Kaye Carty of Staffordsville; and her friend Wittney Lovely. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing are required.

In lieu of flowers, she requested that contributions be made in honor of Rosetta Salyers to the Stinson Freewill Baptist Church of Stinson, Kentucky.
