He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lyons and Juanita Perry Lyons; his wife Maudie Lorraine Staniford Lyons; his sons, Robert "Bobbie" Lloyd Lyons, James Michael "Mike" Lyons and Gary Lyons; and his siblings, James "Jim" Lyons, Robert Lyons, John South Lyons, Nanette Mulvaney and Francis Stambaugh.
He is survived by: his son Rick Lyons (Ashley) of Staffordsville, Kentucky; his half-brother Shrriel Ray "Butch" Conn (Anna) of River, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Marty Conley, Kendra Lyons, David Lyons, Heather Lyons, Madison Lyons and Erica Lyons. He is also survived by eight greatgrandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
