She was predeceased by: her parents, McConnell May and Mary Sue Preston May; her husband Cornelius "Pete" Preece; and her siblings, Paul David May, Janet Faye Ward and Alkie Elizabeth Salyer.
She is survived by: her siblings, John Walter May of Louisa, Kentucky and Linda Jean Styers of Columbus, Ohio. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
