He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Coats of Florence, AL and Mary Hyde of Killen, AL; and his grandchildren, Leigha Nicole Coats, Robert, Brian Smith, Christopher and Nina Hyde. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
