He was predeceased by: his parents, John Herbert and Alta Lee Vittitow Young; his wife Alice Auberry Young; and his siblings, Raymond, Kenny Young, Lois Rogers, Helen Muncy and Linda Spalding.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Lee Armstrong (Fred) of Clarksville, IN., Connie Settles of Springfield and Mark Young (Angie) of Bardstown; his sisters, Sue Rogers (Irvin) of Bardstown and Sherry Taylor (Danny) of Bardstown; and his grandchildren, Alison Morris (Bob), Tiffany Bartley, Travis Bartley, Kayla Russell (Chuck), Chandler Young (Sidney) and Rachel Young. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
