He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oscar and Mary Jane Durbin. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Durbin and Katie Jo Hager; his siblings, Mike (Merky), Tim (Sara), Jim Pat Durbin (Angie), Carol Marie Reams (Terry), Tina Sympson (Scott) and Rosemary Fleming (Dale); and his grandchildren, Kinsley, Maisyn and Trenton.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 8:00 AM at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home (324 W Center St, New Haven, KY 40051). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Catherine Catholic Church. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at the St. Catherine Cemetery.
