With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Goodlett Skaggs of Springfield, Kentucky, who passed away on May 13, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Allen and Pearl Simms (Addington); her former husband Charles T. Goodlett Jr.; her siblings, Kenny, Sonny, Donald Simms, Norma Carrier and Janice Simms; and her granddaughter Jaysa Goodpaster.
She is survived by: her spouse Dale Edward Skaggs Sr.; her children, Tammy Goodpaster of Harrodsburg, Sherry Sever (Don) of Georgetown, Angela Goodlett (Tim Witt) of Lancaster and Kevin Goodlett (Angie) of Springfield; her sister Joy Campbell of Danville, KY; her stepchildren, Sherry Skaggs, Ricky Lee Skaggs, Dale Skaggs, Michael Dwayne Skaggs, Thomas Skaggs of Radcliff, KY and Terry Robert Skaggs of Bowling Green, KY; and her grandchildren, Aaron, Megan, Caleb, Morgan, Makenna and Hannah. She is also survived by Three Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
