She was predeceased by: her parents, William Tapp and Berry Tapp; and her brother Sterling Tapp. She is survived by: her husband Stephen M. Varble of Clarksville, Indiana; her children, Stephanie Varble of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Travis Varble (Wendi) of Louisville, Christopher Varble (Kelli) of Charlestown and Patrick Varble of Clarksville, Indiana; her brothers, William Tapp of Elizabethtown, Jim Tapp of Elizabethtown, Dudley Tapp of Springfield and Jack Tapp of Springfield; and her granddaughter Lauren Varble.
