He was predeceased by: his parents, Daws Gibson and Dorothy G. Mulligan (Tucker); his brother Malcolm Gibson; and his grandparents, Lula and Dee Tucker.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Gibson; his daughters, Shelia Redmon (Dave) of Henderson, Tammy Sauls (Barry) of Henderson and Penny Shelton (Robby) of Henderson; his sister Donna Daye of San Antonio; and his grandchildren, Crissy Sandefur, Ticey Dorton, Landon Shelton and Blake Shelton. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
